Membership
EAPAA is Australia’s peak employee assistance body representing provider companies, individual EAP practitioners and host organisations. Because it is truly representative, with a wide cross section of providers, skilled and experienced practitioners, small, medium and large companies and interested students and administrators actively involved with the national executive and state based activities, EAPAA is able to provide a range of high quality member services. Practical help and advice with EAP sourcing, implementation, quality monitoring, value adding and fiscal justification are well-travelled paths for EAPAA members. The host organisations that enjoy membership of EAPAA have the opportunity to regularly share experiences of maximising the value of their EAP, learn about innovative ways to educate their employees about EAP benefits, contribute the results of company research about EAP impacts, keep abreast of improvements in EAP reporting protocols and ultimately save their company or organisation money through being able to have their EAP provider deliver continuous improvement in EAP operating standards. Many host organisations appreciate the opportunity to showcase their HR achievements at the annual EAPAA conference. This forum enjoys a developing reputation as a quality and friendly, results-based meeting place where organisations freely share information that ultimately adds to quality of work life throughout Australia. Best practice in risk management and being able to demonstrate a fundamental commitment to employee duty of care are benefits that can flow from EAPAA membership.
Being a member of EAPAA shows employees, shareholders and the wider business community alike that your EAP is a highly valued company resource which is valued, dynamic and something to be proud of. As many prospective employees closely assess the companies they may wish to work with, being a member of EAPAA will further reflect employer of choice qualities.
