Q. How does an EAP help?

A. Goal orientated, short term solution focussed interventions are utilised to assist you to understand how particular issues are impacting on your life and help you to develop strategies to address them. Obtaining assistance for work and life issues in the early stages can often help to prevent more significant issues from developing. The counsellor can also assist you to find and facilitate referral to more specialised or appropriate assistance if required.

Q. How do I make an appointment?

A. Making an appointment is easy, contact your employers HR services to obtain the dedicated ORS EAP Services number, use the EAP wallet contact card / EAP pamphlet provided to you by your employer or the access the ORS EAP PORTAL to make contact and we will arrange an appointment time for you.

Q. Where and when would I go?

A. Face to face counselling is provided at one of the ORS offices. Permission to attend counselling during work time is at the discretion of your organisation, however, unless urgent or work related, counselling is usually conducted in your own time. Phone and online video based counselling services are also available.
